I've seen enough of Ponson, send him back to the beaches of Aruba and bring up Slowey. Slowey has an 0.96 ERA in AAA and there is no way he can be worse than Ponson.

Rondell White is hurt again this year with a tear in his calf so don't expect him back anytime soon. Kubel needs a tent for the circus he puts on in left, so just DH him. Josh Rabe is riding the interstate (a buck eleven)so send him back to the minors and bring up Denard Span to play left every day. Span, Hunter, and Cuddyer would be an excellent outfield.

I see that Hunter got beaned in the mouth. Maybe it was the baseball gods way of telling him to shut his pie hole about who should wear Jackie Robinson's number?

It could be the Royals saying "we don't need your champagne"

So much for getting rid of Ponson, 1 run in seven innings and he retired the last 9 that faced him. I'm guessing it was luck. We will see. Although, Tampa has a heck of an offense.

Did you see Cuddyer's somersault? Funny.

Boof may be on the chopping block.

Yeah I agree that Ponson needed that win yesterday...his spot was riding on that start. He is just lucky that the offense gave him 5 runs in 2 innings so he didn't have to worry about all the home runs he usually gives up. I think he is a little bit of a head case. And yes Slowey should be up from AAA

Big series for early in the season, the hated White Sox. Boof gets his first win tonight.

You can soon enjoy the new home of the Twins, while the Pohlad famliy enjoys the view of Lake Calhoun. Gotta love that Corporate Welfare System!

Hunter extends his hitting streak to 23. Hopefully the Twins can take the series today at noon.

Morneau's upper deck shot in the tenth inning to win it in game one was something. Holy cow.
