The Henderson Park Board would be willing to facilitate a meeting with any individuals or groups that want to try forming a Henderson Town Team. The Board could set something up in the second week of Aug.?

I doubt you're talking about a co-ed team, nor would I really want to play. However, I do think it would be great to have a town team and I would be willing to help with fundraising, etc.

I actually think Danielle is on to something....or maybe on something. But a co-ed town team would probably be the first of it's kind, and I of course being the proud athletic supporter aka jock strap that I am, would be all for that. If you are looking for someone to drive around in a cart or on a four wheeler, pulling a piece of fence behind them to drag the fields, I can't think of anyone more qualified than myself. Being as I did get my Master's degree in field dragging. Or if you are just looking for an old out of shape centerfielder I suppose I could throw my name in the hat there as well.

Jeremy,
Maybe you could dust off your business and marketing skills to help this group raise some money first.

Maybe that is a good idea Jeff. One would think it would be fairly simple to market a co-ed naked ball team though. Imagine the uniforms?
