The class of 1991 will possibly celebrate it's 15 year class reunion next year.

What are some activities that other classes have done for their reunions?

The class of 1990 just had our 15 year and celebrated by doing some bowling and then having a few beverages at a classmates house. We only had 16 in our class so it is pretty easy to fit everyone in a house or garage. Other things we have done in the past were, a pot luck at the park and supper at Kokomo's.

Our five and ten year reunions were both held at Caribou Gun Club. Dinner and social hour basically. I'm thinking....paintball!!

Yes, that was the LSH reunion. Didn't we do something with just the Henderson classmates?

Could we ever rent a school bus and just go on a "road trip?"

In all seriousness....I would like it if all classes would post their reunion information at this site and even make an attempt to invite the classes that were a year or two ahead or behind them in school. The reality is that in a small town kids of all ages and from all grades grow up together.

In a small town kids spend as much tiime with kids from other grades as they do with their own class.

My senior class (1987) has had a couple get-togethers over the past couple of months and it made me realize that I spent the better part of 18 years with these people. It's amazing to think how I've spent such a small amount of time with them over the past 15 or more years. They were like my extended family. (Tito, could you pass me a tissue?)

I work in a school of about 2000 kids, grade 10-12. There are kids that were best friends in grade school but don't even see or talk to each other in high school. It's really kind of sad.

Go Johnnies!

The Class of '70 has had a reunion every five years and expect we'll meet again for our 35th this year. I haven't had much response to my call for an all HHS Alumni reception in conjunction with the Henderson Heritage Days in September. I have the Brass Top Hall reserved for Saturday, Sept. 10th if we get things organized. I figure we need roughly a dozen people to help. We'd be looking at a drop in and chat open house with maybe some music in the evening rather than a full blown thing like was done in the past. Any interest?

Grads of my vintage ('46, that's 1946!) are few (and declining) in number and I suspect most are not "electronically active." Nonetheless, a REAL live "chat room" at the Brass Top (as suggested by Doug) during Heritage Days would be popular, I'm sure. We have the Heritage Days weekend on our calendar and plan to be there.
