We just received a card from long time friends in Le Sueur with a comment we'd like to share with all you bloggers. We quote: "...We're enclosing an article on Hnenderson from the Mankato Free Press. Maybe you already know about the Henderson website. Ever since we read your book [Growing Up in Henderson] we have been a fan of that enchanted city. They have some wonderful shops...and the 'Bitterseet' is really great!" To all of you: Keep doing what you're doing to make Henderson a special place. I was opening mail at work today and received a Christmas Greeting from Minnesota Valley Electric Company. I looked at the picture on the front of the card and thought what a pretty picture. I looked a little closer and realized that it was the Christmas tree at the Community Square, downtown Henderson. Nice job to whom ever is responsible.
