Jane Busch, passed away at Mala Strana Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Belle Plaine Township on November 26, 1929, she was the daughter of Peter and Anna (Bartusek) Neisen. She grew to adulthood on the family farm near Union Hill, MN, attended a country schoolhouse, and graduated from New Prague High School. Our sympathies to her family, Ann Marie (Jim) Eckert.9 grandchildren, Jennifer, Stacy, Mike, Kristine, Tony, Jayme, Marty, Tyler, and Ally; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Elle, Aria, Avery, Andi, Ashlynn, Cameron, Brandon, Carter ;and sister, Armella “Amy” (Joe) Holden; Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. John’s Catholic Church in Union Hill with Father Eugene Theisen officiating. Visitation took place at Bruzek Funeral Home on Tuesday evening and on Wednesday morning from 7:30 – 10:00 .
A good crowd eventually showed up at the KCHK Appreciation Party at the Park Ballroom, after the Vikings game. Colton Tupy’s Sand Creek Connection Band began the gathering by entertaining with his concertina. Good prizes for folks. Jerry and Sheilah Soukup were home and attended, Gordy and Margie Eischens, Bruce and Cathy Halloran, Marlene Weiers Seuer, former General Richard, Jennette Nash and their grand children, Jim O’Connell, Gene Tikalsky “Ticker”, Chris Coopman Aldrick, the late Ernie Coopman’s daughter, KCHK crew and families, including Mike and Janiel Holden, Grandma Kim introduced “Tommy” at break time as he waved to the crowd. Matt, Desiree Reak and their girls enjoyed the dance together. Greetings to our new friends Clayton and Sherryl Thomas, Sally Rademacher, and Marlene Weiers Seuer including Diane Burns, Same table next year. Thanks for the laughs.
Granddaughter Katelyn Landwer was part of the confirmation group this past week at St. John's the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato. The Very Rev. Will Thompson, Vicar General of the Diocese of WInona-Rochester presided over the confirmation class instead of the newly appointed Bishop Barron who could not attend. The Vicar General shared during mass that while in seminary he baptized two babies at St. John's and our sweet Katelyn was one of them.
