Got to be honest, I don't care if the Vikings lose to Fig Newton and the Panthers as CBS has the game. So no Joe Buck for Vikings' fans - YES!.
When did the Sunday afternoon networks that carry the NFL do the occasional Divisional switch? I must have missed that announcement. Back in the Tommy Kramer days, there is no way that CBS would carry an NFC game. Wait...... wasn't Brett Musburger and Jimmy the Greek on CBS? Anywho - I think those that are in the know, know what I am trying to get at. I think. We'll see if anyone knows.........."no body knows, no body cares, no body knows but me".........(Lefty Frizzell reference).

OH - I'm told it's called "Cross Flexing" - which is why the big NFC tilt will be on CBS. I then did a little research and found this ditty below. http://www.latimes.com/la-sp-ask-farmer-20141213-story.html

Well now, wasn't that fun. I'm still waiting for the review and the game to go the other way. And I'm glad Diggs didn't drill a ref with the no look helmet toss - looked unsafe. And now what to think about Sunday's tilt, welp, the weatherman has pulled the chance of rain out of the forecast and looks to be around mid 40's and wind around 8 MPH or so - which is good, I guess. Although, a driving rain, 6 to 3 game would be fun too. I'm thinking it all comes down to QB play and scheming. I would think if Casey plays OK with no major mistakes, it might work out - Vegas confirms and has the Vikes as the favorite, then again they had Atlanta the favorite there this past weekend too. I suspect Zim will look at the pass chart of Foles and say, 'if they are going to beat us, make him beat us deep.' So I would expect the Vikings defense to crowd the line, pulling the safeties down low and make Foles throw the mid to long range passes and until Foles proves he can, that will be how it's played. The Eagles have a pretty good defense so special teams might have to score for the Vikings to win, let's hope so. Skol!

Vikings 72 Eagles 4
Payback for the Wild Card loss in Philly in '08. Philly held Tarvanious Jackson to 164 passing yards and no TD's.
The North remembers.

Also payback for my Vikings visor getting chewed up in '04 by rabid Eagles fan guy. MNF in Philly my pal Enoch and I attended Sept. 20th, 2004. Philly had McNabb/Owens. Vikes had Daunte 'n Moss. Lost 27-16 that night then lost to them again in the divisional round of the playoffs 27-14 same season. Bring it home purple. Bring...it...home.

Well that was brutal to say the least. Every 10 years we can look forward to an NFC title game for our Vikes. I will be a Patriots fan on SB Sunday to say the least. No way can I hope for that fan base in Philly the opportunity to relish a SB win. Not with the thuggery and downright criminal actions they portrayed yesterday. Google it it's true. Patriots 64, Eagles 3.

Why half-ass something when you can full-ass it?
Vikings went full-ass. I commend them for their commitment in keeping the tradition alive.
Add another layer to the callous that has grown.
