The 2016 Kraut Eating Champ Kyle Mueler and the 2015 Champ Joe Braun will be participating in the 2017 Sauerkraut Eating contest. Veteran krauter Brandon Culbert is expected to be among the challengers, but it is unknown if Zach "Sasquatch" Trimbo will once again step up to the (paper) plate. In addition, a Motivational Speaker may be present to encourage the Kraut Eaters.
Kenny "The Sodbuster" Jay has agreed to Judge the event again this year.
