Steve Sabol should have written The Autumn Wind about the Vikings, not the Raiders.
We will eat the Eagles soul.

Oh great, SeaHawks sign Stave who was just released from practice squad. So much for the Start Stave! shirt I had designed. Reminds me of the time the Hawks picked up T-Jack and we all remember very well how that ended.
And how about a screen pass or some draw plays? Fire Norm!
Jay Cutler 8 wins in 13 games against Vikings. Doesn't look good for Monday night.........

I thought his name was "Steve". It looked like "Steve" on the back of his jersey.
Remember Viking QB Steve Dils? It looked like his last name was "Oils" on the back of his jersey. "PUT OILS IN THE GAME!"
Da Bearse.
We shall dine on honeydew from their battered helmets. (I think that's a Rush song lyric)

Blair Walsh Witch project has sadly, ended. Although, I did hear some people mention that the road to the Super Bowl is back open now and they ain't letting any of the jumpers back on the bandwagon. Looks like The Camel will have to walk.

Kickers are the ultimate Taco Bell fart...can't trust 'em.
Now that yet another offensive tackle is out for the year, look for GM Rick Spielman to sign a tractor tire inner tube to fill the void.
As a defensive player, if you've never been chopped down at the legs by a tractor tire inner tube...you've never...ah...well, never been...where the hell am I going with this?
Anyway, back in the glory days of backyard football out at Howard Weckworth's place, Camel, Skeddy, and I would utilize a tractor tire inner tube as a blocker. Defenders come barreling at you, you simply drop that inner tube in front of them at their legs and watch them hit the frozen turf while you scamper for another 8 yards. If they gouge themselves on the valve stem, it's an "unsportsmanlike conduct penalty" and the gain is nullified.
Anyway....look for Tractor Tire Inner Tube in jersey #71 on the Vikings sideline, just waiting for an opportunity.
SKOLS!

Now what - Boone at Left Tackle? Vikings O line wasn't that good to start with and now with them going through 5 tackles things are not good. I don't know that a team can make a playoff run with that mess. Not many 6.5 feet tall guys that are over 300 pounds on the face of the earth (one in Le Sueur though) so now the Vikings plucked a guy off of Jacksonville's practice squad - Roshod Hill. Not sure what he looks like at Tackle, but with how things are going we could see him Sunday! Just saying, finding a Tackle is WAY harder than a kicker, which the new guy beat out 6 others. Six! Lots of kickers in the rolodex. (Dad, what's a rolodex? Google it.)
Zimmer talking tough in the press this week so I expect a VERY aggressive defense this Sunday. Hopefully Rochester's finest, Marcus Wiest Sherels, is back returning punts as the blue print for a Vikings win seems to be good defense (getting a couple TO's) and a score from Special Teams. If they can get that, they win. If it's on the offense to win the game, that's going to be tough row to hoe. Prediction - new kicker kicks the game winner for the Vikings.

Free agency begins. So far the Vikes have lost underwhelming, oft-injured, and expensive left tackle Matt Kalil, blocking tight end Rhett Ellison, and punter guy Jeff Locke. They have signed free agent offensive tackle Riley Reiff, former Detroit Lion.
Longtime Viking linebacker Chad Greenway has decided to hang up the cleats.
I'm not upset one smidgen of an iota about losing Kalil. That man has caused a cornucopia of cuss words to rage from my jowls during his time with the Vikings.
Ellison? Hardly knew 'im.
Punter guy? Don't care. He punts, which in reality, is giving up. Every time you send the punting team out there, you're giving up. I wouldn't take much pride as a coach on how well my team performs while giving up. In fact, I'd prefer to be really bad at giving up. Vikes need to find THAT guy. They'd be justified in paying him veteran minimum too, because he would be bad at his job.

I know I know, I hear ya. Punting is for field position. Field position, schmield schmosition. Play some defense instead.
Vikes continue to pull the trigger on the "parts shotgun" (mechanic term...you get that out when you really don't know what's broke on your veeehicle.) They signed free agent tackle Mike Remmers, former Carolina Panther, to a 6 quadbillion dollar contract or something like that.
Mr Remmers was once a Viking...back in '13 or '14......they released him.
At least this keeps TJ Clemmings on the bench, so there's that.

Kick returner and part time gadget play wide receiver Corsnazzles Patterson signs with the Raiders.
Why did Spielman move up into the 1st round to draft him?
Scouting department needs an overhaul.
