Probably lost 10 million bucks for that.
Then he proceeds to admit he got cash from the Ole Miss coaching staff for rent.

Love it how the NFL is just so appalled by it though. I bet half the league's players go into games higher than a giraffe's ass. KFAN personality and former Viking/Charger Ben Leber mentioned during the draft that he had teammates stoned in the locker room before games. We'll call it concussion therapy.

BNAG - lots of hits on the Vikings talk here so the people need a bone from you to gnaw on as training camp is 1 week away. (1 week, you kidding me?) Nope.
I'm very interested in what is going to happen with the O line - that will probably be the biggest thing to watch during camp. I love Willie Beavers, (insert Jerry Burns sound bit here " I love Alfred Anderson") hoping that rookie makes the team. But big questions remain - will Loadholt and Sullivan come back from injury and look like they once did? Looks like the brass is betting not.
They sign Boone and Andre Smith so I'm thinking we are going to see a starter from last year not make the team, such as Loadholt, Sullivan, or TJ Clemmings. TJ has some upside but that was tough to watch at times last year.
Boone is bad man and just what the line needs - a guy that chews barbed wire and spits nails. Just hope he makes it through camp without really hurting someone as he will for sure be in some fights during camp.

Nort, I'm with ya on the o-line. They fix that, and Teddy Throwsevelt will make the jump. Teddy was the most pressured QB in the league last year.
I'd be surprised if Loadholt makes the team. He was never very nimble when healthy, and is now trying to squeeze out another year on a repaired Achilles tendon.
Sullivan should make it if his back holds up. I think they would like to put Joe Berger back at the 3 interior line backup position and hope Sully stays healthy.
TJ Clemmings needs time. He was never supposed to play last year, but they were forced to when Load and Sully went down.
Matt Kalil enters his contract year. Scary thought.....does he improve just enough to make Spielman give him a fat new long term contract and then he returns to his matador ways?
I might have to get down to training camp at least once for some Angie's Kettle Corn and visit Chuck Foreman in his autograph booth again. Coax some old Viking stories out of him. He opens up when you tell him you're a Miami Hurricane fan.

Good work here Carnac - Loadholt decides to hang up his cleats today - so your prediction of him not making the team comes full circle. Looks like Andre Smith in at RT.

3rd string QB severs tendon in leg trying to break into his own house. Sounds like complete BS to me (I call B.S.!) but it's better than the canned, "I slipped in the shower and ______" that is usually used. Seems like the fake rock with hidden house key compartment would be a good thing to give him as a Christmas present.
While talking QB, rumors swirling that Vikings might sign Nick Foles and dump Benny (Shaun) Hill. One can only hope that happens cause if Teddy goes down and Hill is the answer, good bye Super Bowl and hello Benny Hill skits.

Foles signs with Chefs - maybe some decent QB will get cut that can serve a backup.

Heard on the airwaves this morning that Michael Vick has been mentioned as a possible insurance policy. Isn't Jeff George still sending out VHS highlight tapes?

I took this pic today at Mankato. Looks like we have a back-up competition! Bilateral Concussion Free! Not sure why he had a Las Vegas Raiders cap.

Teddy Throwsevelt lost for the year with a dislocated knee and torn ACL.
A team can usually absorb a couple injuries, but when it's the starting QB.....game over.
Don't count on much from backup QB Shaun Hill. He's been in the league forever and a couple weeks, but he's a backup for a reason. Usually you can count on a backup keeping the boat afloat for maybe a game or two, but not a complete season.
Couple Hill's immobility with an already questionable offensive line, expect opposing defenses to blitz every play, every game.
Teddy at least has proven that he can gouge you if you blitz him.
Shelves are empty at QB's-R-US too. Wonder if Bert Favre is bored with mowing his lawn?
This just dickers up everything.
