Just heard our face-painted Edco Professional on the radio. He is at BW3s in Chanhassen participating in KFAN's Friday Football Feast radio broadcast. He hasn't washed the paint off his face, but there are streaks under his eyes where the tears washed away the paint as the game slipped away from the Vikings. He just chanted "Let's Go Mavericks" as they discussed Gophers hockey, in support of his Purple Cows at Minnesota State-Mankato. Patrons probably think the purple and gold face paint is in representation of the Purple Cows hockey program.

Bam! Welcome to Mankato!

He also had a shout out to Jeff Dubay!

Nice.

After watching the unraveling last night the Vikings might win 2 more games. That's the team most expected to see this year.

I fully expect to see more of the same this Sunday against the Detroits. Probably won't see Harvin out there catching those behind-the-line-of-scrimmage passes. Maybe this will force Musgrave to call a couple passes BEYOND the scrimmage line. Dangerous! Risky!

I like saying "scrimmage".

A lot hinges on the game, not playoffs but rather draft selection. A win will probably put the Vikings in the 20's and with a loss the Vikings might end up with a top ten pick.

Bnag hits the nail on the head again. The big tight end with soft hands is every offensive coordinators dream, well except Musgrave's.

I'm predicting the Vikings pull out the win with help of the 12th man.

They say Jarius Wright is faster then Percy. May not have the intestinal fortitude to match though. Still excited to see his YAC results. Swing pass left, swing pass right. We stretch the sidelines, not the defense.

Skol!! Vikes-19 Lions-11

Heard through the grapevine (yes, I listen to grapevines) is that the Vikings will be doing a uniform change starting next year. Going back to a similar look of the ones they used when Two-martini Tommy Kramer and Scott Studwell roamed the field in Met Stadium's last years.

My grapevine told me that Studwell used to pick his scabs so he'd bleed during games. In today's world of increased awareness on workplace safety, he'd have to come out of the game and change his pants before being able to return.

I would loudly applaud a return to a look of old, gray face masks included. If I applaud in a room by myself with nobody else there to hear, does it make a sound?
