I am looking for information or possible relationships to the above families. I am a descendent of both sides. These families resided in Henderson and LeSuer in the late 1800's through 1912 time period until they moved to Fresno, CA. I have a lot of photographs/postcards of the Henderson area and would like to locate or know the whereabouts of an brick home that was the family home for the Furch's. One great uncle, Art Furch, continued to live in the area until his death in the 1920's or 1930's... Does anyone have any information and is anyone interested in these old photos? Thank you, Gail Ulrich

Art Furch house was, I think the one now occupied by Wally Buck; last house on the east side of the 200 block of So. 4th St. Art Furch had a steam threshing outfit for many years, and I think his engine was used, along with Hank Gabbert's, to cook Kraut Days kraut.

MORE> Lotsa Furch info in "Henderson, Then and Now": Edna's Beauty Shop, Art, Bill, Ed,Fred, Henry J., Wm. Wm. Furch was listed as a Jessenland Township Suupervisor in the 1910's; the Jessenland 1894 plat shows Wm Furch the owner of 40Acres in Sec 28 (just west of Matt Rose).
