Norton, I agree with your entire take. I think the Vikings are gonna come out quite beastly in this one, maybe score as many as eight touchdowns, five for sure, and win something like 48-10. They are overdue to put it all together. Some might look at the 0-4 start as a bad thing, but there are positives.
The crowd is going to be one of the Vikings best ever this weekend. The bandwagon, wanting to be at the forefront of the "hot social scene" people are not going to go this weekend. Look at the T-Wolves. That one 50-game stretch in their 20+ year history that they were actually good, the Target Center was the place to be. Now, the only people at the games are, well, I don't know who they are.
The Vikings have enough Rubes and Diehards that they can still get 60,000 Moss jersey wearing drunkards to put on Helga Horns and leave places like Henderson at 7 a.m. to get downtown by 9 so they can be pissed up by kickoff. It'll look like a Raiders game in there, don't bring your children. There are the real fans, the diehards, the drunkards, and they will absolutely litter the streets and tear the roof off the Metrodome, much like 1998 when the team was actually good. The atmosphere will be electric, and the Cardinals will cave to that kind of noise.
True Story. 56-14, Purple. Does anybody know anyone who's actually going to this game?

Camel not really sure what your smoking, but you should pass it around. From what I have heard the locker room is starting to fall apart and point fingers at each other. This could be a repeat of the Lions a couple years ago. 0-16 ?

A buck fitty and two results in just 14 because the Vikings still have one of the best run defenses in the league and the Cardinals don't have a No. 2 receiver that can get open against Cook or Allen or whoever guards him, and although Winfield is out he's over the hill anyway. Sure he's a good tackler, but he's slowing down and it's tough to tackle a guy that you can't catch, so this will just give some younger, faster guys some playing time and those younger, faster guys are younger and faster and play with a little more fire in their belly than a veteran like Winfield, who is probably not hurt real bad but being a 12-year veteran on an 0-4 team makes it easy for those knicks and bruizes to hurt a lot more than they should.
So Fitz can have his two and a buck fitty, but AP will saddle up right behind the guy with the coolest name in the history of offensive lineman, Loadholdt, and rip off 7 yards a pop. Vikings win, 31-14. AP might go for two fitty and two, and Fitz, while a great effort, will end up on Page 5 of the sports because he will be overshadowed by AP!!! WOOOOO!!
Haven't been this excited for a Vikings game in a LONG time!! Bunker game, for sure.

The 1992 San Diego Chargers season began with the team trying to improve on their 4–12 record in 1991. It was Bobby Ross' first season as the teams head coach. They made the playoffs for the first time in ten years. The Chargers would lose their first four games of the season and come back to become the first 0–4 team to make the playoffs as they won 11 of the last 12 games and clinched the AFC West title.
Does anyone else recognize two similarities between the 1992 Chargers and the 2011 Vikings?
Both had first-year head coaches. Both started 0-4. And by season's end, they will share the title of "only teams in NFL history to make the playoffs after an 0-4 start."
Don't fall asleep on this team. And certainly don't fall asleep watching them, or you'll miss it. 8 million people working together for a common goal can do this! Let's go! Let's go! L-E-T-S-G-O! Let's go! Let's go! L-E-T-S-G-O!

Oh my Camel you've outdone yourself on this one. Yes I, Skeddy aka Fathead, will be attending this game on Sunday. No we didn't just buy tickets to avoid not seeing it on tv because of a potential blackout. Although I'm such a diehard I probably would. We bought tickets prior to the season starting. I did hear some secondary ticket outlets had tickets for as low as $4!! Wish I would've waited. But then again, I probably would've chosen not to attend.
I'm thinking we'll be departing Belle Plaine by 7am as Camel stated. Gotta find a great tailgating spot to share in the pregame revelry that is Vikings football. WOOOOOO!!!! I really think were gonna do it this time people. I say 16-4 Vikings.
McNutt will trip up and fall for a safety and our back up punter will step outta the back of the end zone by accident once. Other than that the Cards offense doesn't stand a chance. Keith Nord, Tommy Hannon, and Joey Browner will put the clamps on Fitzgerald Sunday. Mark my words.
There was a rumor that Terrell Owens was sighted at the MSP airport this morning. McNutt and Owens did go to the Super Bowl you know as Eagles. Has there been any helicopter coverage on tv today???

16-4 still covers the spread. I love it. All that's left to figure out is where we'll be watching Round 1 of the playoffs, because I think at 0-4 it's gonna be real tough to get a first round bye.

Other reports that Carl Lee, Bobby Bryant, John Turner and the guy that use to model men's underwear would come out of retirement to help the Vikes secondary!
