Vikes make some big news today with the practice squad. Tyrone McKenzie LB practice squad addition D.J. Johnson CB practice squad addition Matt Asiata RB practice squad deletion Cedric McKinley DE practice squad deletion.
McKenzie is a former Patriot so he is going to be good. D.J. Johnson might be a long shot - didn't he play for the Celtics?

McNabb and his receiving corps are gonna have a career day. The Bolts defense will be so keyed up on AP since his 300yd performance against them previously that they'll forget about Harvin and the Gang. It'll be "celebration" time come Sunday evening after the purple spoil the fun for Katie's California girls. It's undeniable!!

The only remaining question is whether to take Monday off or just call in "sick" on Monday morning. Victory is assured. PA said the Vikes score 33 points. He's the radio pronouncer so that means he knows most of this stuff!

Bunker game, don't be calling the house Camel. Well, you can....but go ahead and rant on the answering machine.
I think I might save Camel's halftime rants and put them in an archive. They would be fun to listen to when were older. Too bad I didn't save any Chilly era rants, they were the best.

Doubt the "sick" days will ever be like '98 was. Besides, already took the 19th off in preparation for a wild 'n' wooly Twins bus the day before. Learned my lesson from last year. Town Ball Tavern will be packed that day since the Vikes home opener with the Bucs will be going on.

Twins bus last year = Vikings lose to Miami when they can't score from the two. Stay out of the Hometown Tavern! Don't jinx it.
Sibley East at LS-H tonight. Great start to the football weekend. Can the long-struggling Wolverines and their 300+ yard rusher from last week score a second straight victory over the Giants? Or will the Giants send SE west wondering what the heck that was that just hit them? Should be a good match between two teams likely to finish in the top half of the MRC.

This just in!! The Vikings don't care where I watch the game.
LSH-33 SE-16 A late game update from Camel indicated SE scored late off our subs so a blowout indeed in LS tonight.
Norwood was leading at BP 34-14 with 4 minutes left in the 3rd when I got bored and hungry. Sets up a LARGE showdown next week in NYA. Could decide the MRC!!

AP inks the big deal. I'm thinking he partied all night and won't show up today.

Wow - that was the worst passing offense I have ever seen. McNugget had what, 36 yards passing? I think if the field would have been stretched some, the Vikings actually could have won.
I was thinking it would be the first time every team in the Norris won, but the Vikes blow it. The Vikes might win more than 6 games after seeing the game Sunday.

The Vikings are a 3.5 home dog going into Sunday's tilt with the Lions. It's obvious the roar has been restored after Detroit's 48 - 3 dismantling of the Chefs and proof positive by Vegas making the visiting Lions a 3.5 favorite. The over under of 44.5 seems like a big number but some of the other games are up to 52.5. So much for defensive games.
