Yes. She supposedly went to school or lived in Henderson. She died due to complications following treatment for her "illness". The police report looked legit and the articles from the papers too.

I actually know a little bit about this. As crazy as it sounds. This is also my 10th post so I am somewhat excited to see the results once I do post it.
I will help with some of those links, because I am now intrigued, I don'w know about Emily living in Henderson. While I am sure there is an Emily in Henderson, I do not know if Emily Rose the posessed is the one.

It took me a bit of time but I found the site you were talking about: http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/exorcismofemilyrose/site/ Very interesting. It does name Henderson MN as the place this event took place. You have to click on about emily and then on this is her story, click on each newspaper article to read. It says the small town of Henderson south of St Paul is where Emily was from. I've got a feeling Henderson will have many more inquiries about this after the movie comes out in Sept.

My interpretation of this is that the movie is based on a true story that actually happened in Germany. But then...there's Vampire Valley.....

Well I know it didn't happen here but the newspaper articles they are showing on the web site for the movie name Henderson. If I were Marlin & Joan or Matt & Nicole I'd get an unlisted number!
