Looked like a pretty average Joe yesterday. Now what?

Now what? Draft defense and win with that while Joe grows with the new offense that is put in for him. Get a re-tread QB such as Grossman.

Looks like #12 in the draft - I can't wait to ride with Skeddy to the draft party in April!

Stick with Webb and ride out the tough times. At some point we need to get a young guy some experience. Why draft a quarterback then? O-line could use some help. Should we rent a van for the draft party and carpool? Or maybe someone's got one and we could paint it up purple and install a Vikings horn. I'm already fired up for next season!!! Could be our last better enjoy it.

Gimmee Neckbeard Orton and one of the QB's at 12. Ditch the passive Tampa 2 defense. More of that D scheme that we saw vs the Eagles. Need rangier safeties. Frazier will need strong D and O coordinators and let them do their thing.

Give Joe Webb Berrian's jersey. Re-sign Sid and Greenway. Tahi, Berrian, Leber, TJack, Ray Edwards, Madooieoie Williams, and Fat Pat can go.

Of course, it would be nice to have a bonafide General Manager to make these decisions.

I would rather Carson Palmer than Neckbeard. Use Webb a couple series a half as a "change of pace", and to stretch out Palmer's health. If it's going well with Webb, stick with it. He can also line up in various spots, pitch him the ball and give him a pass/run option. Agree with much of the list of guys that can go. We have too many Williams on Defense. Make Winfield a safety, why not, good tackler, can't cover on the outside anymore.

Or trade Adrian Peterson for draft picks in each of the next three seasons - a package of first, second and third rounders, whatever, and do a Dallas Cowboys thing like they did to us when we got Hershel "I must be some kinda special" Walker. Turned into a couple championships for the Cowboys. Peterson will be past his prime by the time this team is ready to contend, then we'll be saying that we're just "a running back away."

Do it.

Disagree on Palmer. Not with our pass protection issues, which won't get fixed right away. Neckbeard at least has some mobilty. Have to counter the pressure D's in the NFC North.

No to McNabb, Palmer, Hasselbeck, Grossman.

If I'm Frazier, I task Bevell with coming up with his offensive plan for next year. If it's too Chilly-ball, I look elsewhere for an O-coordinator.

Interim D coordinator Freddie Pagac likes the aggressive D, so I roll with him.

I was just going to suggest the same thing about trading Peterson, much like the Walker debacle.

Agree on no to McNabbsancwich, Grossburger and Hasselneck, and will agree on Palmer based on that great football mind that does nothing but win Fantasy Football championships.

Look for three road teams to win next week, with only Indy protecting their home dirt.

Thinking purple

Former Gophers fullback Jon Hoese bench-pressed 225 pounds 25 consecutive times and clocked a 4.56 in the 40-yard dash at the pro day.

Probably a better FB than Toby - but I'm guessing the Vikes won't draft him.

You know he's a product of the Glencoe-Silver Lake dynasty?
