I'm thinking the Vikings win out the rest of the season. Super Bowl Home Boy.

I don't have a limited edition Brad Childress portrait painting hanging in my house, but the Chicago Sun-Times story that many anonomyous Vikings players say they hate Childress and want him fired is bunk. I am not implying that these things were not said and that many in that locker room hate the coach, but you put a microphone before one of these athletes and they'll feel comfortable saying about anything anonymously.
I would contend that in today's NFL - with million dollar bills floating around big shot, 20-something-year-old athletes - there are a handful of players in EVERY locker room in the league that would same the same thing if granted anonymity. Not everybody likes their coach, and most of these guys have been the star of the show at every level they've played, big shot on campus types. So they get to the pros and don't play as much as they think they should, whatever, and now they hate the coach. This isn't news, this is bunk journalism by the hometown paper trying to create a schism in the visiting team's locker room before it comes to play their horsebleep team that's living on a prayer.
Bunk.

Moss is already stirring the pot in Nashville. Firing back at reporters. Can't make this stuff up even if it's straight cash homey.

So Jen Sterger met with the NFL today - interesting that something that happened two years ago is bothering her this year. Smells like heartbreak to me.
Let's assume pictures were sent to her - how does the NFL prove Brent was the one who hit the send key?

The only real drama left for this Vikings season is when they try a new quarterback. Not that the QB is the lone problem for this year's team, but he is not the QB of the future. So, it doesn't take Mike Tice smarts to figure out that it would benefit the future of the Vikings organization to throw somebody out there for four or five games so you get a bit of a sample size of which to rate their capabilities. Complicating that is the Silver Fox, who has started every game since Don Makowski took that fateful tumble to the LameBlow Field turf in 1992 or whenever the hell. This is not a rip on the Silver Fox, it's been a good run and last year was one of my favorite Vikings seasons, but at some point this thing is gonna come to a head and we'll need to see another QB, whether it John Webb or Various Jackson, whoever. In what has been a soap opera season that make story lines on All My Children, Generic Hospital and One Live to Give realistic, this could be the last great plot to play out. I felt stupid in my living room chanting by myself - "season's over (clap ... clap ... clap clap clap) season's over (clap ... clap ... clap clap clap) season's over (clap ... clap ... clap clap clap)"
At least the Wolves won't underachieve this year. OoooWooooooooo!

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Heck No!
I refuse to give up hope until the fat lady is singing - loudly.

I think if the Vikings make that interception in the first half it is a way different game - different like Vikings only lose by 14.
I didn't realize there is an NFL ref name Clete - Cletus. Rosco must be proud.
I hear the singing.
