Brent will lead us to the Super Bowl this year and in three years Joe Webb will be doing the same. I'm thinking Soggy's Sage's days are done.

Sage would break his neck if he attempted that jump.

Its already been debunked. Just the media being bored, and trying to get ratings! Speaking to the press Tuesday afternoon, coach Brad Childress insisted that he was not told Brett Favre is retiring.
Childress has spoken to Favre within the last 24 hours, and he still considers the situation "fluid." Vikings players also told beat writers Tuesday that nothing has changed regarding Favre's status with the team. As is always the case, the Vikings are not pressing Favre for a decision. We still believe he'll be under center against the Saints in Week 1.

I said since day one, and mentioned a report from 930 THE SCORE that Favre has no intentions of playing in the first couple of games this season. He doesn't want to go back to New Orleans and take a bunch of helments to the chin in Week 1 of the NFL season at age 40. He will report after the Saints game and be ready by Game 3. Might mean the Vikes settle for a Wild Card. Even if Favre doesn't return, Johnson is ready to lead this team after a year of learning the system and Bart's mentorship. All is not lost in Purple Land. Enjoy the season. hutt hutt.

hmm... will he now, or wont he Visanthe Shiancoe confirmed Tuesday that "some" Vikings players were told of Brett Favre's plans to retire recently, but says he wasn't among them.
"What I'm hearing is it is true, he did decide to retire," said Shiancoe. "(But) until I hear it from his mouth, I'm going to leave it at that." It's worth noting that NFL Network's Mike Mayock was at Vikings camp Tuesday and "noticed no difference" in the behavior of OC Darrell Bevell or QBs coach Kevin Rogers. The Vikings had to expect some sort of song and dance so early in camp.

Now it reads he will play if healthy - whoever came up with the claim he doesn't want to play the Saints might be spot on.
What's Jeff George doing?
