My dad and generations before him are from Henderson. His name was Carl Lindorff and my grandfather was Herman Lindorff who used to have a farm implement, etc. store on the corner of Main and Fourth. Does anyone have any memories about the Lindorffs or know who owns the Lindorff builing now?
Also does anyone know about Andrew and Betsy Snyder, who used to have a farm outside of Henderson? Andrew died in 1911 but Betsy stayed on the farm years after. Andrew's cousin, Nels Mortenson, helped Betsy run the farm after Andrew died.
I already have Henderson Then and Now and spent some time at the Sibley history museum last summer. I live in Arizona so it is hard for me to research from here. Thanks!
