I was thinking "go for two" at the end. The Bears were backpedalling. Spread the field and give AP or Favre a chance to make a play. I would've applauded a failed two-point attempt. Easy to say in hindersite, but why take a chance with a coin flip? Seven TD passes allowed in two games to friggin Moore and Culter is bad, real bad. Winfield might be among the best run stopping DBs in the league, but a DBs real value is his ability to defend the pass. I bought a Winfield t-shirt with a Scheel's gift card, my first ever shirt with a name on it. I've learned why it was my first, and last. I'm sick up and fed. Velocity, check your Hopkins math ... seven fumbles per a 16 game season would be a fumble every other game. I'd imagine you made a typo. Never thought I'd have to cheer for the Cowboys. When will the Vikings defense force a game-changing turnover? We're due, man, we're due.

At least the last game will mean something....
In addition to the Vikings' falling behind the Eagles due to tiebreaking procedures, the New Orleans Saints locked up the top seed in the NFC. The only way Minnesota would be able to have a bye in the playoffs is if it wins against the Giants next week and Philadelphia loses in Dallas.
Additionally, the Arizona Cardinals could still lock up the two-seed should they win and both the Vikings and Eagles lose next week. The Cowboys could also earn a first-round bye should they win and the Vikings and Cardinals both lose.

With Chili-Dogs "Kick-Ass Offense" they for sure would have converted. Was surprised that they wound up getting two possessions in the overtime period. Yes Camel it was a typo. Royce stopped by and had about 50 people with him...you know how he rolls. I got a little distracted while typing.

Ahh, yes. I cannot wait until this weekend to watch the Vikqueens back their way into the playoffs and right onto the golf course the following week. Did all you Vikqueen fans believe that Favre was going to be the Savior himself? Granted the Vikqueens lacked a stable QB but what they really lack is solid play calling. The Vikqueens have arguably the top running back in the league but Coaches find the need to run him between the tackles. Where are the screen plays or lining AP up on the Wing? Plus, why isn't there more shots down the field? Favre can still heave the ball. Let the man stretch the field. But Chilly struggles to do that and that is why the Vikqueens will continue to struggle.

When the team clinches the playoffs 3 games before the end of the season I wouldn't call it backing into the playoffs.

Fire Chilly and punky brewster while at it...Gray had a great run before the play that he fumbled...kick the ball if you don't trust him...AP fumbled...new Minnesota football coaches would make a great start to the new year!
