What was up with that first challenge?
Defense looked O.K.
Harvin looked way better than last game.

Just a good football football game played between a couple of tough football football teams. I'm encouraged that the Vikings can line up against a football football team that is the caliber of the Steelers and knock heads with them, regardless of the outcome. I was fearful that the Steelers would move the football football up and down the football football field and the Vikes would be exposed as "maybe nots". Instead they emerged as "Probablies" despite the loss. To win big football football games against equal football football teams you need a couple of breaks and the Steelers got a couple more breaks today. If the Vikings can match that effort next Sunday, or any Sunday, there is no reason they shouldn't be in every football football game they play. With a little luck we can join together at Wild Hog's for some purple tooters on Super Bowl Sunday!

Back in the day - I went to the high school on the West side of town - to me it seemed like the only option. But today I think the high school on the East side is about the best.
Camel - very well put. Played on neautral sight, like Miami, I'm thinking we win.

Vikings are a 15.5 favorite Sunday - that's a big number.

It was 16.5 Tuesday, so maybe it's coming down. Favre has his "groin" thing you know, so we could see T-Jack in there at some time. Maybe T-Jack should start and we can hand off to Peterson and Taylor 60 times and pass 12 times? Just a thought.

Vikings are a 11 point favorite against Seattle. Lots of big spreads this coming weekend - don't know that I have ever seen so many.
Seattle's corners are concussed - look for Brent to light them up. I expect Housh-miata to have a big day too. One would expect lots of scoring. One of the betting lines has an over at 48...........wow.

Looks like Henderson's leg is a compound break - YIKES. That was an ugly reply.

Bummer about Henderson. Gotta continue to believe, though. The 'Nuls were the more inspired team last night, and when you have two teams of professional athletes the difference can be inspiration and desperation, that was the case last night. Now we can forget all this nonsense about waiting for the Saints to lose and concentrate on just playing football. Thing that bothered me most about last night was some d-back that I'd never heard of made a nice hit on the far side deep in Arizona territory and hopped up in the guy's face. You're down 14 points and have done little to indicate that you're going to compete tonight, yet you take the opportunity to get in a guy's face after you make what might've been your first ever pro football tackle. I think that was the guy that collided with Henderson later in the game.
I think for the first time all year our favorite quarterback looked hesitant and rattled. Maybe at 40 you can look great when things are going well, but you drop off considerably when there are snot-nozed defenders breathing fire in your face.

Winfield being back sealed the deal against the Bengals. The forced fumble right before half was a game changer.
I'm thinking one more Vikings win and an Eagles loss will give the Vikes a first round bye - but I have thought wrong before.
Brinkley looked OK.
You would think some doctor could help Harvin.
