“JENNY LIND in AMERICA†presented by
The Joseph R. Brown Heritage Society and The Sibley County Historical Society with support from The Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative
A free admission concert on Sunday, May 1 at 1:45 p.m. will be held at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ at 111 S. 6th St., in Historic Downtown Henderson, 1 block south of Highway 19, 4 miles west of Highway 169, (approximately 45 miles from the Twin Cities Metropolitan area and 25 miles north of Mankato).
From 1850~52, Swedish Soprano JENNYLIND toured the United Sates and was received with wildly enthusiastic audiences. A concert program from this tour will be replicated by Soprano Carolyn Pratt of Bloomington who has performed this program throughout the Midwest. A reception featuring Swedish desserts will follow.
