Henderson native, Dave Ostermann(class of '69), is currently recovering from double bypass surgery at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital. It came as a real surprise as he passed his annual pilots license physical with flying colors this year but experienced some shortness of breath while riding his bike last week and after a stress test and angiogram they found the blockage. He expects to be released tomorrow and will be recuperating at home. He is probably done flying helicopter for this season. If you would like to send Dave a card his address is:2402 Hauer Trail, Shakopee,MN55379

It was twenty five years ago this summer, late one Saturday night at Cozy Corners, when Dave told me that he might stop in with the chopper some day and give me a ride. I guess there is no need this summer to run outside and wave at every helicopter - like I have been doing the last 25 years (sometimes without my pants). Oh well, there is always next summer.
Get well soon Dave!
