Sid Luckman, Bobby Layne, and George flipping Blanda.

Now name one in last 50 years that was worth his salt, that could be difficult. Jeff's Vince Evans might be the best one. Yikes.

I'm sure Steve DeBerg played for them at one time. Didn't he play for everyone at one time?

I think Keith Olberman surmised the Bears quarterback ineptitude quite well a couple months ago.

Bob Avelinni (spelling) comes to mind. Another name with a great ring to it.

I did very little research and here is a list back to '79.

http://www.bearshistory.com/lore/chicagobearsquarterbacks.aspx

I forgot about Rick Mirer.

The second best quarterback during that era they don't have listed. Walter Payton played QB in the playoffs. I'm thinking it was the year before their super bowl run.

Now throw out some standout Bears receivers throughout their history.

Does Willie Gault count?
