| Our mission is to educate the community and visitors of Henderson’s historic buildings and heritage.
Commission members (there are 7) must be residents of the City of Henderson. There are no requirements for other members.
Monthly meetings are held at the J.R.Brown Minnesota River Center.
Events the HHPC and Friends sponsor or participate in are Henderson Heritage Days, Cemetery Tours, and Sauerkraut Days.
Goals of the HHPC and Friends are to educate, and promote and protect historical structures within Henderson City Limits.
Accomplishments include the Henderson Historic Survey report, adding 3 buildings to the local designation, 4 historic cemetery tours, and the Heritage Days Antique Fair.
