Skeddy-I like your sports speculating much better then your political prognosticating! The Giants will beat Maple River although I have to watch my son play the Gusties on Saturday. At the game last night and last Friday a scout from Glencoe-SL was sitting ahead of me charting our plays and making lots of notes. They must think that they will be facing us a week from Friday. I hope the Giants get revenge for the beating they gave us in 2002.

Grrrr yeah I hope we meet them stinkos from GSL also. It would be real fitting since they knocked us out twice I believe in recent years.

I think it's funny that they send scouts out to chart the opponent's plays.

I certainly hope more fans show up for Saturdays game.

I live a block or so from Cretin-Derham Hall....I've seen them recording their own pratices 5-10 times this year. If a high school coach has time to watch video of his own teams practice he's got way too much time on his hands!

As far as charting plays.....it is kind of silly, especially when they get film of the game. The biggest thing is that they can get a "feel" for a team watching them live.
