Since we're doing advertising. Don't forget the Centennial Luncheon from 10:00 -5:00 on Saturday at the Golden Age Room of the Community Building. Menu includes: Chicken Wild Rice Soup, Vegetable Hamburger Soup, Hot Beef or Egg Salad Sandwiches, served with Chips and Pickles, Pie, Coffee, Water. We will also be hosting a craft and bake sale and be selling root beer floats.

I like to think of the above as Henderson's answer to Bob Dylan. But that's just me.

Puff The Magic Dragon is my favorite.

I remember one Homecoming Variety Show where Tom Murphy played his guitar and sang and was joined by all of the Murphy kids. Reminded me of the Von Trapp Family Singers. I'd like to see that again.

Nothing can be substantiated yet but I've heard a rumor that Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, & Simon Cowell may extend their visit to Minneapolis, MN and spend Sunday in Henderson recruiting the Legend Tom Murphy for the upcoming season of American Idol. Might I suggest a reunion of the Murphy clan, huh Michele, Tom, Vic? You’ve all got sometime left on you 15 minutes of fame.
