I am not sure if the powers that be will let me ask this- but I think I have a little pull. Laurel Brummond and I are opening up Henderson's first coffee shop. Not a cafe,( we do not have a grill) but a coffee shop, with fresh ground coffee, latte's,mocha's, homemade soups, and sandwiches.Upstairs will be a fabulous gift shop, and meeting space. I would love to get some feed back on what it is that Henderson would like to be offered in our space. (of course with-in our means- remember, we do not have a grill, or fryer, homemade food only)

Free advertising eh? As long as Blakeley is prominently mentioned at a new downtown business, I think Jessenland should demand equal time.
Anything that can help promote the Scenic Byway and capitalize on the traffic generated by it should be successful.
Loni and I are planning a humongous Scenic Byway Garage Sale next fall.

Lisa, if Bittersweet has good homemade soups and sandwiches, you will do just fine.(That is,of course,if you keep your hubby out of the kitchen and home babysitting where he belongs!) If you need a supplier of fresh restaurant supplies, I know of a guy they call the Cisco Kid.

We will have scones, caramel roles, cookies, cheesecakes, cakes. Every day will be different.

Will the gift shop offer new and "antique" items? I'm reeeeeeealy looking forward to the opening of the shop. I'm longing for a hot skinny latte with a bit of carmel....... yuuuuuum.
