When and where did it happen?

The best streaker incident I ever witnessed was at halftime of an SJU and St. Thomas football game at St. Thomas. The UST danceline was performing and nobody was really paying attention. Suddenly the whole place began cheering as this guy went running down the field behind the danceline. They thought the crowd was cheering for their dance performance. The streaker got to about the 30 yard line when out of nowhere came a Ramsey County Deputy to make probably the best tackle of the day. He took out his legs and dropped him cold to the turf. A couple other officers helped cuff the naked young man....thankfully they handcuffed him hands in the front! As they led him away the officer that made the tackle stood up, brushed himself off, and took a bow to the standing ovation of the crowd!

Maybe Denny could do this at halftime of this year's game?

Didn't the "streaker" only profit $20 from this incident? It wasn't for the money though. The notoriety he/she gained from this will last a lifetime!

Sorry Velocity, but streakers are supposed to run and my knees don't allow me to do that anymore. Besides. the St. John's fans make big enough fools of themselves at the games without a streaker! It probably has something to do with the long ways they have to walk to the stadium from those cow pasture parking lots you have up there. Anyway, getting back to the famous Sauerkraut Streak, (that would be a great name for a kraut eating contestent "' the Sauerkraut Streak") if this is the 5th anniversary perhaps something should be done to commemerate it. We gotta get Enoch in the kraut eating contest!

Ahhh yes. The streak. I think I may have contributed two or four bits to that endeavor. Good idea for Enoch to enter the kraut eatin'. We know he can be bought!

Speaking of which, did I read correctly that the contestants are sponsored? What about auctioning each one off as well--a calcutta of sorts? Of course, the hope would be that the winner's bidder would donate some or all of the winnings to some local charitable organization. Second thought, I bet the Minnesota State Gambling Control Board would probably have something to say about it. As would those morally opposed to gambling.

I like that "he/she" remark by Skeddy. If it was that hard to tell it my have been a wise idea for the "streaker" to plan his run when it wasn't so chilly. Wasn't it like 85? Hmmmm...

Ha! Reason for the "he/she" comment was that I didn't wanna reveal the sex of the perpetrator for that may "expose" who the person really is. That is, if you don't already know. But you're right Joel, it was tough to tell.

Do you guys remember how everyone stopped what they were doing, including the umpire from the Championship softball game?

The streaker sort of looked like that old Bigfoot footage from the '60's.

I will have you know that I was but a wee lass, at the age of 11 or so when i witnessed that, and I can clearly remember that streaker to this day.. I was watching the softball games, but i really didnt realize he was naked until he got closer, anyways, i've been scarred ever since.
