Capstone Press in Mankato will be holding model recruiting for children ages 4 and above to serve as models in our children's books. We will be at the Pepsi booth outside of Walmart in Mankato today and tomorrow (June 15 and 16) from noon until 6:00 and Saturday, June 17, from 11:00 until 3:00.

Children who sign up will receive a free book and a treat.

So, if you are in the Mankato area in the next few days, be sure to stop by. If you aren't and still would like to sign up, contact me at s.schuette@capstonepress.com and I can get you the forms.

Henderson's own Nick Tousley and Joe Bertrang both appear as models in one of our upcoming books. The book will be at the Henderson Library as soon as it is released.

The books have been released and are now available at the Henderson Public Library.

If you check out I Am Friendly, see if you can spot various places from town. Local characters include: Nick Tousley (boy with a fake broken leg), Taylor Tesch (daughter of Dale and Julie Schwartz Tesch-main character), Grandma Minnie Simcox (friendly old lady on the cover), and Joe Bertrang (School Bus Driver-obviously). I dedicated the book to Joe as he was also my bus driver.

We are always looking for models throughout the year for our nonfiction books on various topics. We do travel to locations for photo shoots or conduct them at our studio in Mankato. See my contact information above if interested.
