Heard some SEKS this morning on the way in to work. It was real loud too. Kept a good beat. All I heard was thump, thump, thump. Can't wait for the live show fellas!

I got SEKS for Christmas! Woo-hoo! (What a great gift! Who wouldn't want SEKS for Christmas!?!)

Did you know that household chores are a breeze when you are enjoying SEKS?

My children have found that listening to SEKS while trying to do your homework can be distracting though....

I remember attending SEKS and Five Star concerts as a teen. What years did each band play?

I told the "old man" to jump on here to answer your questions, but he's a little slow wink

I think SEKS ended and Five Star started around '82 or '83. I'm sure dad will jump on here shortly and give you more details. There was even a band before SEKS, but again, I'll leave it to big Dave to fill you in.

On another note: I know there's only 1 or 2 CDs left at BitterSweet. Once those are sold, that will make 30 copies sold in total! I'll be putting some more together over the New Year's weekend and hope to replenish the stock by Tuesday.

Just to let everyone know- We are officially out of SEKs at Bittersweet. Laurel and I have had fun selling all this SEKS for only $5. We have tried to get Tom to increase the price but to no avail.
Oh well- guess everyone will have to wait until Tom gets the rest of the copies made.
If you have not bought a copy, make sure you do! We play it during the day at Bittersweet. Very good. Who is the guy that sounds like Elvis?

The guy singing Elvis would be Mr. Frank Ebert. Great singer, guitar player and a hell of a nice guy!

If all goes according to plan, I'll have more SEKS at BitterSweet on Tuesday. We've got some SEKS t-shirts in the works, so be on the lookout for those in the new year.

Update: I found that I did have two more copies at home, so I brought them into BitterSweet this morning.

I have to get in on this.

You shouldn't keep all that SEKS at home. Share it with everyone.

Yes, Jeff, SEKS can be cheap and easy to get if you live in Henderson.

Thanks, cousin Tom, for your response. I'll wait to hear what your Dad has to say too. (Sometime I hope to hear your band as well. Maybe this next summer.... I hope!)

It's nice to hear from all our old, and maybe new fans of SEKS. I'm glad to see the CDs are being purchased. Let's not forget to thank Blue Ringers for this opportunity to get back together. Without their support and Tom,s labor of love this would not be possible. I cannot tell you how it felt to get back together that first night after 25 years with the ones who we spent so many years and good times with. I,d like to hear some old memories from some of our fans, some that can be posted that is. How about Osterman's party? Fox Hollow? ect. Without the support we had from our fans through the years we would never had made it to this point. Ask Denny about the Octopus Bar, ther's a few storiers to be told on that one too.

From myself and the rest of the band enjoy the music and memories. Maybe we can make more this year.

P.S. Tom. Don't believe every thing Mike says.
