I will be driving through St. Peter this evening and am willing to pick up yard signs for the Minnesotans United for All Families "Vote No" campaign regarding the marriage amendment. If you want a sign please call me at 612 three-nine-six 2066 and we can arrange where I can drop the sign off. If I don't answer just leave a message and I'll call back before picking up signs.

The signs are $10 and the proceeds go to the MUfAF campaign.

My either...but I do get this...it's all a stunt to get out the vote and has nothing to do w/ "Family Values"....whatever the heck those are.

http://www.twincities.com/ci_21785537/gay-marriage-ousted-gop-insider-brodkorb-say-amendment

Keep in mind the irony of this coming from a guy that was having an affair with a married woman that just so happened to be the majority leader of the state Senate. IMO...the biggest threat to marriage is straight guys and gals like them that can't control their naughty parts. ;-)

Thanks Church Lady!

If I got this straight (which is stretch as I get corn fused easily) but a vote no is a yes for same sex marriage and a vote yes is a no for same sex marriage.

It reminds me of the time Benny Hill asked this voluptuous young lady, "Is it true when you say no you actually mean yes?"

No............

And if you don't vote?

From the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State's website

Q: Is it true that if I don't vote on a constitutional amendment, it is the same as a "no" vote? A: Yes, that is true. Constitutional amendments by law must be passed by a majority of all of the voters who vote on Election Day. Therefore, if you don't vote on this question the effect is the same as a "no" vote.

To clarify, however, it's only a 'no' vote if you show up to vote and don't vote on this issue. If you don't show up at the polls at all it's not a 'no' vote or a 'yes' vote.

To further clarify/corn-fuse...

A "NO" vote is a vote to NOT AMEND THE STATE CONSTITUTION, it is not a vote for or against someone's marriage.
Which is good, because I am certain that I wouldn't want my marriage to be up for popular vote!
