Sunday, July 29, family of Jim and Mary Jean Halloran and Lyle and Doris Halloran Solie vacationed at Pleasant Pines Resort at Hackensack in Minnesota, last week. Judy Glisczinski joined ‘em. The Solie members came from as far as England, Washington D.C. and Mexico. They fished, went swimming, sunbathing, tubing, shopping, played cards, made crafts and great food, shared and made more great memories. What a wonderful week!

The O’Connell/Burns reunion took place here in St. Thomas on Saturday, August 28th. Family gathered at the St. Thomas Sportsmans Park and at church for Mass. Father James thought about 60 family members... Dick put together a list of names with their ‘dash’ dates, a map of all their Dearly Departed, where they are resting here in the cemetery… and how they are related to Ann O’Connell Burns. He marked the graves as well… Wonderful job, lotta thought... Challenge everyone to try this with their ancestors… send me a copy. Greetings, Mary Ellen O’Connell Morris, always a cheerful smile and gentle hug.

Fantastic band…cousin Bob Pexa played with the Revivals…loved watching the dancing…Czech dancers…and then saw Lisa Meger out there having genuine fun as she danced with her girls, Ashlind and Kylie.
