Next weekend, July 20-22nd, LeSueur and Henderson will be hosts to the District American Legion Baseball Tournament. Games will be held at both sites all weekend long.

This is a call out for volunteers that are willing to lend a hand. Action starts early next Friday the 20th as the opening ceremony gets underway at approximately 8:45am at Hilltop Park.
Then four games are on tap with the first one starting at 9:30am. Followed by a noon game, 2:30pm, and 5pm. Same schedule applies for Saturday the 21st. Sunday the 22nd two games will be held with the opener getting underway at 10am.

Helpers are needed mainly for the concession stand. Other duties such as chasing foul balls, running the scoreboard, and announcing/keeping book may be needed as well.

I thought I signed up at the Tigers game on Ruby's sign up sheets for working Sunday at 3:30- Brody and Allie and I will try to be up there a little earlier than that to help in the stand/chase foul balls/whatever. Allie's bday party is Saturday, so that's out for us.

We have our work schedule slotted for 3 hour shifts, 5 to a shift, so that everyone who wanted to help, would have opportunity to find a time convenient for them. THIS JUST IN: For all the individuals who are so kind to assist us with this endeavor, the person who clocks the most volunteer hours will walk out with 3 quarts of my garlic dills, 2nd most hours will receive 2 quarts and 3rd most hours will receive 1 quart of garlic dills.
