Congratulations to: Miss Henderson Savannah Zippel 1st Princess Briana Williams 2nd Princess Sam Alander Miss Congeniality Taylor Edberg Also congratulations to Sammy Kraemer, Taylor Edberg and Kayla Swart on becoming ambassadors of Henderson! 125 Cars Cruised in Friday night's Car Cruise Over 200 runners participated in the Kraut Fun Run Over 60 youngsters participated in the Kraut Kiddie Parade 60 Tractors rolled into Henderson on Saturday afternoon for the 11th Annual Henderson Tractor Ride 13 crazy units entertained us in the Owl Parade. (it's beginning to grow) Over 80 units in the Grand Parade 3000 brats were sold over the weekend. Cliff Gorman wins the 2012 Kraut Eating Contest. His second consecutive title with a time of 3:39. Raffle Winners: Winner of the 1950 Farmall Super A - Burt Williams of Lake Crystal Caribou Gun Club Membership Value $ 500: Stan Voelkel, Le Center $ 75: Heather Scheel, Lakeland $ 50: Marvin Petzel, Henderson Cabbage Toss Results: Women: 3rd Sam Winter 2nd Katherine Cronk 1st Ellen Koenigs Men 3rd Mark Roby 2nd Bob Alander 1st Luke Frauendienst Kids 3rd Sam Hardel 2nd Ted Pesch 1st Kaylee Schmitt I would like to personally thank the Kraut Krew for their tremendous efforts in planning this event! Thank you to the Henderson Chamber for continued support in the Kraut Stand. Thank you to the many residents of Henderson for their help in the Kraut Stand. Without your help, we wouldn't be able to pull this off. The Kraut Krew's mission is to provide the best small town festival in southern Minnesota and i think that with a little help from mother nature, we accomplished our goal! Thanks to all that attended the festival. Hope you see you all next year! FRANKS Kraut still everyone's favorite Kraut.
