Doesn't count in the standings, but it was still a game with an official and a score and a result. The Giants baseball team won the conference with an 11-3 record, BUT they finished the regular season 13-6 because they played some non-league games that didn't count in the standings.

The Legends pulled off a huge league win yesterday in St. Peter by a 2-0 score. Previously unbeaten at 5-0, the Saints were also the state class AA runner up last year.
Scott Zeiher got the complete game shutout as he and battery mate Jim Sullivan were facing their former team for the first time.
Rock solid defense, which included two double plays, proved to be the key in the victory. John Hank and Sullivan each had multi hit games at the plate.
Winners of four straight, the Legends (4-1) next go to Loretto on Fri., July 6th for an 8pm tilt. Then Sun., July 8th is a trip to St. Paul to play the Seafoams at 6pm.

A makeup game with the Prior Lake Pacers has been scheduled for next Friday the 13th up at Hilltop. First pitch slated for 6:30pm.
Also, the game on Sun., July 22nd vs. Jordan is still up in the air as far as location and time. It will be a home game we know that for sure. Just not positive which side of the river it will be.

You forgot to add "the yet to be beaten LeSueur-Henderson Legends." If the scores don't represent whether you win or lose, why not say the team hasn't lost yet, and will never lose? Since when have points tallied by opposing foes in an officiated sporting event ever determined a winner and/or a loser? LSH Legends - 50 and 0!!!

I hope we don't play 50 games. That's why I quit town ball!
