There is a new team in town! A group of locals have organized a senior men's baseball team with home games being played in both LeSueur and Henderson. Team colors are navy blue and white and the schedule consists of 15 games and 3 exhibitions. There will be four games in Henderson at Hilltop Park. Admission is FREE so come on out and enjoy some local baseball...senior league style!!

The first weekend of games wasn't very legendary for the LSH Legends as they were shut out by identical 2-0 scores. Pitching was great both Fri. night in LeCenter and Sat. night in Lonsdale. However the bats will need to come around if the first year squad is able to make some noise come tourney time.

This Wed. night the Legends host St. Peter in an exhibition game at Hilltop Park. First pitch is 6:30pm. St. Peter lost the state championship game last year to Shakopee so the Saints will prove to be a tough challenge. Former Saints Scott "Zeke" Zeiher and Jim "Sully" Sullivan look for some revenge against their former team. Once again there's no admission fee so come on up to the park and enjoy some baseball.

Legends come away with two wins this weekend! Friday night's game with St. Patrick at Hilltop proved to be a tight one as Scott Zeiher pitched the locals to a 2-1 win. Then today they traveled north to Jordan to take on the Alers and smacked the ball around the park to the tune of a 10-4 score. Jason Borchardt toed the rubber and dominated. Season record now stands at 2-2.

This Friday, June 8th the Legends host Northfield in LeSueur at 7:30pm. See you at the ballpark!
