It begs to question ... would you rather lose to Vanderbilt in a 5/12 first round game of the NCAA tournament in front of 5,000 fans at noon eastern in a 60 degree Thunderdome in Oklahoma City? Or would you rather gain the experience and get tournament tested for five games and go to New York with big stacks of booster provided cash and lose by 26 points in the National Championship game?

The smarties at Stanford got destroyed by Tubby's team in the Bahama's and then on the way back home Tubby's boys dismantled a good Florida State team on their home turf.

Speaking of Bahamians, this could be the year the mens BB team takes the Big 10 crown and hopefully none of them are selling complimentary tickets or having their homework completed by their tutors.

Although, the big guy is in year what, year 6 or 7 of his 4 year degree so he is probably doing his own work. Reminds me of what Bluto said in Animal House - Cripes, 7 years of college down the drain. I should have joined the peace corps.

Big win at the barn today against Izzo's team. Bluto ( the seven year senior ) had a nice game and held his own against the big guys from State.

Thankfully Tubby signed the extension. I'm thinking elite eight for sure if not the final four.

Another big tilt tonight at #12 Illinois. This should show if the Gophers are worth the #8 ranking. The battle between Nnanna Egwu and Bluto will be the one to watch tonight as Bluto is a few inches shorter. But being 24 years old, I'm thinking Bluto will have his way with the youngster. A man amongst boys.

Heard the Gophs are actually favored by 3 on the road! That's unreal. The next three will tell us what were made of. Saturday at Indiana then next Thursday vs. Michigan at the Barn. Let's play!
