This past week I saw many signs of spring. Robins and Red-Winged Blackbirds are back, Chickadees singing their spring songs, Wood Ducks on High Island Creek, and loads of geese coming in. Also, saw a woodchuck yesterday in the ravines, and a bat flying around by the Peavey Elevator. I'll be checking Rush River soon for Pasque Flowers. And the maple trees are producing lots of sap for cooking in to syrup!
Anyone else have spring wildlife reports?
