River is predicted to fall below flood stage on May 20. I has been over 2 months since flood stage was reached. Does anyone know the date we went over 727 feet?

Lon - Where does one find information on how the volume of this 2011 flood event stacks up against other flood events?

Never did answer the question on volume or flow above. As far as I know there is not one place to find this information. Some department from the Corps, USGS, NWS or DNR may have it somewhere but I have not seen it and if the data is compiled it is provided through an individual request as needed and when time is available. You probably could use the websites above and do a history search and find some data but would have to compare it on your own.

727, to most people is just a number on a graph. To a river fishermen, it means a lot more. At 727, the water is pretty much all back into its banks, this means the fast current , and dirty water is backing off. This means better fishing, and not to mention boating is less dangerous as well. 727 is something I didn't think was ever going to come this year. Numbers below 727, have been scarce the past couple seasons, and I only hope to enjoy a season of sub 727 for the remaining of this year. I just hope Ol' Mother Nature is more friendly for the 2011 summer season, as she hasnt been in the recent past.

Once again the river is rising as seen above. I got 1.80 inches of rain in Le Center and it's still coming down.
