I contacted both earlier this week and the response from Mr. Nytes was downright embarrassing and makes me sad that he is our County Commissioner. Not even close to the by-the-book whitewashing we saw from Mr. Mielke which would have looked better than a one sentence response.

Folks, let's turn up the heat and get this road open. Keep the calls going to our commissioners, county engineer, and any news media and elected officials you can think of. This whole fiasco is beginning to look more and more like an anti-Henderson deal. If 93 can open with the possibility of a little water on the road, there's no excuse for this boondoggle.

If you can engage the Commissioners and the engineer ask them if they are busy creating an improvement plan for County 6 that eliminates these disruptions. This end of the County pays alot of taxes and we deserve a real transportation plan.

Not sure if our commissioner even returns emails. Sent one a few days ago and no response. Probably to be expected since a previous poster in this forum indicated he/she got a one sentence reply to their inquiry.

I wonder if anyone will remember this next time the seat is up for election? Change indeed.

I received an email from Mr Mielke wanting to call me later today, as he is in a meeting all day. I told him not to waste his time talking to me, but rather focus his efforts on reopening the road ASAP.

I hope I am not the only one raising hell, I'm not the only one affected.

I had an e-mail from him too stating the same thing (no word from Mr. Nytes yet). I told him that it's fine to call me but also share the info with the general public. Monday will make it four weeks since roads began to be closed. This is dragging on far too long.

A county crew is dumping cold mix (blacktop into the hole (10am Thursday) but the powers that be think they need to watch it for a couple days to make sure it's safe to travel on. I talked to Mr Chard at Sibley Aggregates and he agrees with me that the road could be reopened with minimal effort. KEEP THE PRESSURE ON!!

What I don't understand is CR 5 is crystal clear and as far as I am aware no road repairs need to be done... So why isn't that road open through Blakeley??? I agree Tom lets keep the pressure on the so called commissioner and get this fricken road open!!!!
