Tigers went down to Chanhassen last night in a hard-fought affair, 4-2. They just played a better game. Always weird the day after a season ends. Now what?
Anyway, important to share that no fewer than 6 of Chanhassen's dignitaries sought me out to express how wonderful all the Henderson folks were and how much they enjoyed the great support we received. Cannot express enough how much fun it is to play ball before a large collection of supporters. Wish it would've turned out better. It was an interesting season against the finest competition we've faced in our five seasons, and despite our 11-18 record we played some pretty good ball. For whatever reason we just didn't hit the ball like we'd done in previous years, and it sure seemed we didn't get the cheap two-out, bloop hits in a lot of situations.
Like to thank the ballplayers for their dedication and persistance, too.
