Be hopeful that this batting with the bases loaded thing isn't evening out. Last year they batted .330 or something like that, so .170 over the course of this year might even that out. That would make for a long season. I'm hopeful Norton through Richard Downs is right, it will even out, and watch out!

I think we have been fortunate to have the record we do, with the amount of men left on base. If this team can figure out how to get a few more hits with runners in scoring position, look out! We may be hosting some late October games this year!

The next series with the Yanks will be the first real test of the season.

I have two dollars that says the Twins don't win a game in New York. Any takers? If every game is a 50/50 I have a 1-in-8 chance to win this bet (12.5%). And don't get started with the "Ohh geez, Nelly Negative doesn't like the Twins or thinks the Twins stink," that is not the case. Nelly just thinks the Twins have a mental block in that stadium and Nelly is willing to pay $2 to see the Twins beat them SOBs just once. That's a mythical $2, of course.
