Hey Norton, I think it's Talbert:) I watched some old VCR tapes of Twins games from JJ's tenure from back in 2002. My favorites were August 13, a 6-0 win over Baltimore with JJ batting leadoff. He went 2-of-2 with two walks and a run scored. JJ demonstrated that he could also whack it around in the lead-off spot in a 23-2 June 4 mashing of the Cleveland Indians (I had to fast forward through some of this game as it got out of hand). Jones was 4-of-6 with 5RBI, including a double and a 3-Run homer. ** Note - Jim Thome hit two homers that day for Cleveland's scoring. Thome is now a Twin, too. ** If anyone would like to borrow VCR tapes of Twins games from the last decade just let me know.
