Nitschke didn't play - Poof played second, bobbled a couple grounders. Hughes came in later and hits another home run. I'm thinking Hughes comes north, even though he really can't play short.

Twins were on the tube today. Nitcshke didn't play - Homer Hughes started at 2nd. Gardy says Nitschke is so good in the field he makes every play look easy, which isn't easy.

Who is Gardy going to name as the closer? My guess is Nathan but Capps is sure pitching better now.

I am real curious on the utility infielder. Tolburt is playing more than Homer Hughes lately. I would much rather have Hughes because it would give a power right handed bat off the bench. We don't need a defensive specialist off the bench.

How great is that? Worried about the utility infielder? Lots of years we didn't even have anyone capable of playing 3rd base coming out of spring training. 7 DAYS!

Tolburt is a Gardy guy so Hughes will have to wait a few weeks to contribute.

Kubel on KFAN this morning said Cuddy's wart hole was the size of a quarter. That's pretty gross.

I think Hughes stays, Tolbert stays next to his phone if Casilla underwhelms. Plenty of flexibility on the roster. Capps will close in the beginning with Nathan eased in. Delmonsy is gonna be a beast this year.
