Plonto for MVP.

Crain needs to stay in the bullpen. Ft Myers' bullpen would be even better.

Liriano tonight and Red Dog to catch for the Indians - we should be able to steal some bases.

Hopefully Pluto gets his groin healed - we really need his defense.

Are the Twins using Plonto's "groin pull" as a reason to put him to the bench after recognizing his inability to bat against major league pitching? Have any of the Twins starting pitchers established themselves as "the guy"? Has Ronch done enough to make us comfortable with him as closer? Will Gardo be able to keep Koobs, Thomes and DYoung happy? Is Red Dog already naked in the Indians clubhouse or does it take a couple months to get that comfortable around your peeps?

The kid is back - San Fransisco Liriano looked great. Another series win which is unbelievable because defensive wiz Pluto has been on the pine. Harris just can't make the plays at third like little Nicky - well except that double play he turned in the 7th on the line out throw out.

Jock Jones pulls a hemi - that could spell trouble. (I'm guessing he told them he is in shape and doesn't need the bus rides in AAA.) Let's just hope DeYard Span doesn't get hurt..........

Would like to thank Scott Baker and Ron Gardenhire for making sure I got to see plenty of the new stadium yesterday without having to worry about missing a competitive contest. Casilla just about muscled that one through the infield. At least I got to see a bit of Twins history when Sal Butera ripped his first ever big league hit. When he's closing in on 300 career hits I'll always be able to tell my children ... "Children, I saw his first ever career hit, a solid knock to left field. He was a bit out front and hit it off his front foot, but he hit it square and ran fast. Hard to believe, Children, that was 299 hits ago."

Pluto goes to the DL - oh no. I had it at 2 to 1 odds he was headed there for a wrist injury and 3 to 1 odds a groin injury.

Looks like it might be a rain out tonight - was hoping to see Horseshack back on the mound tonight.

Morneau deal is scary - although we did fine without him last year.

I've seen enough of back up catcher Sal Butera - his arm looks worse than advertised and he can't hit a lick. Ordonez had a straight steal today - right after Dick said he is not a base stealing threat. Hopefully Jose Morales gets healthy soon and he comes up.
