After reading the Hockey Night article of April 29, 2009, from the Henderson Indy, I thought I would google this to see if archive footage exits. The powers that be in the NHL have decided that they own the film and are not sharing.

I vaguely remember the Stars/Bruins battle. The penalty minutes for that game stood at 406 minutes. Until March 25, 2004 when the Philladelphia Flyers faced off against the Ottawa Senators.

All lines for both teams were involved. After sorting out the infractions, only two playes per team were left to man the bench.

The new record now stands at 419 penalty minutes. Info provided be WikiAnswers.
