Richard "Rich" Engelmann
Richard “Rich” Engelmann, age 54 of rural Green Isle passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008 at his home. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Hamburg. Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, May 30, 2008 at the Paul-McBride Funeral Chapel in Norwood Young America and will continue Saturday one hour prior to the services at the church. He was a prominent farmer in the Green Isle area and was the son of Melvin Englemann, who started Green Isle Manufacturing in the late 1950's, and also built the Club New Yorker. Mel died of a massive heart attack at age 43.
